Senior High Announcements
Good Afternoon JHS! Today is Friday, November 21, 2008 and here are your daily announcements:
Students, you should all be sitting in your 7th hour class at this time, next will be 8th hour. At 2:30, you will go to your Advisory class. Everyone must be present for roll at Advisory! If you qualified for an early release, your Advisory teacher will excuse you after roll.
Students are not allowed to sit, eat, or hangout in the starwells or steps at lunchtime. Students are not allowed to be in C Building Hallways or New Music Complex during lunch. This will result in a detention! No warnings!
The Success Center will be closed next week due to the Thanksgiving Holiday.
Attention Academic Team Members – Departure time for the North County tournament is 6:00 a.m. tomorrow (11/22). If you said you were attending, we are counting on you, so please be punctual. See Mrs. Jaycox or Mr. Doyen if you have any questions.
The Cross-country banquet will be held on Tuesday (11/25) evening at 6:00 p.m. in the Cafeteria.
The following colleges/universities/military representatives
will be here during the month of December:
Shawnee Community College Tuesday, December 2, during 3rd hour
SEMO Tuesday, December 2, during 8th hour
Air Force, Friday, December 5, during 3rd hour.
Sign up in the counselor's office if you would like to speak with any of these representatives.
The 3rd Annual Faculty Basketball Game is tonight (11/21) at 6:00 p.m. in the old gym. The Lady Indians will have a scrimmage game, followed by the Indians scrimmage game, and the faculty will be the last game of the evening. Admission is one can of food per person.
SPORTS PAGE:
The Varsity Football team will play in the State Semi-Finals on Saturday (11/22) at 1:30 at Hazelwood East. Directions are available in the office, or on the District website.
The pep bus will be leaving from the multipurpose lot at 11:00 a.m.
